The Perfect Steak Sandwich
Ingredients:
250 g of our delicious Dry Aged Striploin Steak
2 Ciabatta bread rolls
1 red onion
Malt vinegar
sugar
Salt and pepper
Olive oil
Shredded lettuce
Mayonnaise
Mustard
Tabasco
Method:
To start, slice your red onion into rings and break apart. Then in a small bowl place your onion with a pinch of sugar, salt and cover with the malt vinegar. Mix well and set aside to create a very quick pickle.
Next heat your griddle pan to a medium to high temperature. Slice your ciabatta rolls in half and lightly drizzle with olive oil and some salt. Place face down on the pan and toast until you see grill marks and set aside.

While your steaks are cooking we can make the sauce. In a bowl mix 3 heaped tablespoons of mayonnaise with a teaspoon of mustard and a dash of tabasco, mix well and our sauce is done.
Once cooked allow your steak to rest for a few minutes and prepare your sandwich. Spread a generous amount of our sauce on both halves of bread ,then add your lettuce and pickled red onion. When fully rested slice your steak into strips and place in your sandwich and enjoy!
